Art therapy

Art therapy is a type of psychotherapy that uses art media to explore emotions. It is not an art lesson, and you don’t need to be good at art. Anyone of any age can benefit from these sessions.

Art can help to find the right words for how you are feeling.

Communication

Creations are made through relevant themes or by freely exploring the materials. We then use the art as communication to help gain new insight into difficulties and together we can try and find a way forward.

Visual journey through therapy

Some people find that the use of art creates a more visual journey through therapy which they can reflect on at a later date and can also help with memory.
